A while ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She and her family tried everything they could to heal it. They tried the medical world, alternative therapies, hands-on healing, and special diets, but the cancer wouldn’t go away. Finally, when the hospital suggested she go into hospice care, she asked her family, “Am I going to die?”

Everything you have in life can be taken from you except one thing:  the last of human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way. ~ Viktor Frankl

With rising levels of fear that seem to be all around us now—in the news, on the Internet and just in daily life—perhaps you’ve had experiences such as I’ve had lately to choose clarity over chaos. In recent years, I’ve been more concerned about taking care of family members with health concerns than I have with any health challenges of my own, so when something came up for me recently, I found myself searching for clarity in my mind about what was going on. (What the heck…?

I write this now because I have recently reciived important guidance which I'd like to share with you.  And you may be feeling—as I did—that at a time when we have the opportunity to shift into the next dimension, many of us may be unwittingly feeding energy into a mastermind of fear and anger that holds us to the third-dimension.

Moving Forward in Love

In case you are just joining us, yes, the Great Shift is happening, and it is happening in the now on a personal as well as collective level for everyone on the planet. The question is, what part do each of us choose to play and how are feelings such as hurt, sadness, blame and resentment helping the old yin/yang mastermind to remain in place?

Mercury: The Transformational Messenger

Three times each year, the planet Mercury seems to go “backward” in the sky from our perspective on Earth in a phenomenon known as Mercury retrograde. Mercury is known as the transformational messenger and moves quickly and freely between the celestial world and the human world. In Lemurian Astrology, Mercury represents our mind, our perception of reality, the way we communicate and how we process information.

Mercury is well-known as the planet that rules communications, perceptions and how we process information. Much has been written about Mercury’s retrograde cycle and how bad it can be with all the mishaps and miscommunications that can occur. I’d like to offer a “balancing comment” on this.

On the morning after Election Day in the U.S, the Sun actually rose as before, people were going to work and kids were walking to school, yet as I began my meditation around 5:00 am, it felt different. The usual trade winds had stopped blowing, so there was a stillness, but it wasn’t really that. In a strongly Democratic state like Hawaii and the birthplace of our current President, I felt a stunned and almost somber feeling prevailing.

Over the years in my blog articles, I have shared with you the journey of healing with my parents, and my honor to accompany them through their final years of this lifetime.

On October 15, 2016, my dear father found the portal of the Super Full Moon conjunct Uranus in Aries and chose to join my mother who was waiting for him in the light of spirit. (Mom transitioned in September 2014 and in her spirit light, she has been an enduring spiritual presence for my father and me.)

I recently shared about the ancient Lemurians and what attentive listeners they were (The Lemurian Art of Listening), but what about the Lemurians’ way of speaking? How conscious were they of the words they chose to express themselves, knowing that their words would be lovingly listened to?

In the Lemurian Wisdom Gatherings I’m honored to facilitate, what a blessing it is to delve into the wisdom of the ancient Lemurians and to see how relevant their evolutionary journey is to us in the now. One aspect of this great wisdom was their keen ability to listen, for in listening, they could learn, heal and evolve.

Some years ago, I received guidance about the Lemurian Art of Listening. It has helped me through many challenging times, and it is what I’d like to share with you now.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

At a time when there seems to be struggle, conflict and wars without end prevailing in our world, how can global meditations be helpful at all?

Conscious Creation in Lemuria

The ancient Lemurians were well-versed in the art of conscious manifestation as their entire society was guided by the Ten Principles of Consciously Creating, reintroduced to our world by Master Guide Kirael, through the mediumship of Kahu Fred Sterling. In this time of the Great Shift in Consciousness, we are reminded of the power of these 10 Principles, from the first Principle of Truth to the tenth Principle of Masterminding, we become aware that in truth, there is no separation in our oneness with all that is.

At one of our Lemurian Wisdom Circle gatherings recently, many in the circle were concerned about the volatile stock markets, hurricanes coming towards us in Hawaii and ominous Earth changes. They had heard that in things were going to get even more chaotic and that there were many astrological omens of great changes and other apocalyptic signs--and what was my take on all that?        [Photo: Nasa.gov]

Is there a way to focus on positive change in a world where things seem to be “going south?”

What kind of a difference can each of us actually make?

The quality of life and the frequency of love on our planet depends on each of us individually and collectively. We are all connected into a weave of consciousness that surrounds our planet.

Each thought that we have has a magnetic, attractive force that affects the frequency of the entire weave. The sentient energy of our planet, also known as Mother Earth, and everyone on the planet feels the energy of loving, positive thoughts as well as any fearful energies that are occurring. How can we focus on positive change and make a difference in the frequency of love on our planet?

We are born of love; Love is our mother.

The number five in Lemurian Numerology is the number for Love—the unconditional Love of the Creator within us all. How perfect is it then that in May, the fifth month of the year, we celebrate this love within the self, Mother’s Day and the nurturing love of the feminine light everywhere?

Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.

The ancient Lemurians knew that balance was maintained and their reality was created through the power of their impassioned thoughts. Now, in our Great Shift in Consciousness, our ability to focus our thoughts to create a positive world for ourselves will determine our path of evolution.

The ancient Lemurians walked their lives with the awareness that the stars and the planets in the skies above them were reflections of the love within them. There was an interactive flow of energies between celestial events in the “As Above” and the “So Below” of the Lemurians on Earth.

Before incarnating for a lifetime on Earth, the Lemurians carefully watched for an alignment of the celestial energies that would manifest the blueprint that they had in mind for a particular time in the Great Unfolding of life on this planet. Just as the Lemurians chose their time to be born, we have also chosen to be here now to participate in the Great Shift in Consciousness as it unfolds in our world.

Balance in Lemuria

In Lemurian Numerology, 8 is the number for balance, infinity and living between two realities. What do I mean when I say balance? In Lemuria, the idea of balance was synonymous with the feeling of unconditional Love. When we can feel ourselves in an unconditionally loving space and release the fears that have been holding us back, we will find a balance that allows us to trust that life is unfolding in the most perfect way.

Last month I shared with you about my mother's passing, and I am so grateful for all of the heartfelt prayers and expressions of love I have received. This is the first time that I have participated so closely with a loved one's transition and passing, and, truthfully, I felt completely swept up in the myriad things that come forth at such a time on all four bodies—physical, emotional (especially), mental and spiritual.

A Healing Journey

My mother Aileen was a loving, free-spirit of the Lemurian Goddess Light, an angel incarnate who brought so much joy and happiness into the lives of others. On September 26, 2014, she left her physical body, completing a beautiful life journey and creating her new beginning in the Creator's Light. In leaving she signaled that her journey of healing was complete here and that she is now free to create a new life experience.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
From "Closing Time" by Semisonic.

How do you feel about completions? Does it feel like a struggle to achieve them? Do they seem like "dead-ends" with only uncertainty lying beyond? Or do you trust that beyond each completion a new beginning and a new adventure awaits you?

In Lemurian Numerology, nine is the number representing completion and new beginnings. This energy, when it shows up in our lives, gives us an opportunity to look at trusting the perfection of the process of completions unfolding in our lives. While recently considering some completions and new beginnings in my own life, I received the following message from the Lemurian Goddess Light:

Be ready at any moment to give up what you are for what you might become.
~ W. E. B. Du Bois ~

Have you ever had one of those days when you felt out of sorts and you didn't know why? Have you felt a cold coming on, decided to push through it and felt lousy because of it? Maybe what you were experiencing wasn't an illness at all. Maybe you were receiving a splinter. Huh? A what?

Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves come when life
seems most challenging.

~Joseph Campbell

Recently, my life as been filled with some rapid changes—a journey of balancing love for the self and others. Within about five months' time, as my new business became more expansive and fun, my parents went from living their lives independently to needing 24-hour care every day.

Fortunately for our family, they are living in a great retirement community, but even so, it all happened so quickly. I often asked myself and the professionals at their retirement home for a reality check, because I would see them as they were six months ago in my awareness. When they spoke, I'd hear them as they were, yet when they wanted to do something, their increasing need for assistance in all aspects of their lives became very clear.

As I remember it, we were sitting on the side of a mountain. Now that the ceremony was complete, we were all lying back with our eyes closed. I felt myself being transported to a galactic craft somewhere above the Earth. It was the most pleasant feeling—like a warm cushion of love surrounding me. This was our "thank you" for a service well-rendered—each to her own craft. I was experiencing the most incredible feeling of love. It was as though the beings surrounding me were my brothers and sisters, that they knew me and cared for me.

Goddess Energy is the vibrational force of the Love of Creator, defined by the sensory projection of love itself.

~Master Guide Kirael~

High in the Himalayas, the Goddess Light is speaking through the mountain known as Chomolungma, the Mother Goddess of the Universe—and some there are listening. On April 18, 2014, a huge avalanche of ice killed 16 Nepalese Sherpa who were working for guided climbing groups—the worst accident ever on Mt. Everest. The conditions on the mountain are becoming more and more dangerous in the light of global warming—especially for those who carry the increasingly heavier packs for the guided climbers.

Can you feel it? There are powerful energies lining up to take our Great Shift in Consciousness to the next level—for our planet and for each of us personally. For me, the most essential question is, how do we navigate the energies to access new levels of love and commitment to the evolutionary journey we’ve all come here to celebrate? One answer is the “M-word” that so many shy away from – Meditation!

As some of you may know, I have a special reason to be grateful this holiday season as I feel that I have passed a new "initiation point" on my Lemurian shamanic journey called life.  Some would call it a car accident, yet as time passes and I gain a greater perspective, I'm choosing to see it as one of the greatest gifts I have ever received.

We meet ourselves time and again in a thousand disguises on the path of life.
